Before and after a long car trip, the integrity of your tires should be checked, in order to insure your and other drivers safety. Some of the most common causes of poor tire health can be from under inflation, over inflation, needing to rotate the tires, or if its been a while, new tires in general. Some quick ways to check this are the following.
- Check the pressure of your tire, and see if it matches what your owners manual suggests for its pressure capacity.
- Note any type of ware and tear done to the treads on the wheel base. Make sure there is enough grip on all tires.
- Do a quick walk around… see if any of the tires look deflated or asymmetrical. If you have completed these, and just wanted to confirm, never hesitate to go to a professional.
We urge when shipping your car, that the integrity of your tires is prime, so we can prevent any kind of issues that may arise.
